About Gordonville, MO - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Gordonville is a small village with about 400 people, and it is found in Cape Girardeau, MO. This community makes up part of the Cape Girardeau – Jackson Metro Statistical Area. Gordonville is located about six miles south of Jackson, 10 miles west of Cape Girardeau, and 14 miles northwest of Scott City, Missouri.  The most notable resident of Gordonville was Fred Henry McGuire, a recipient of the U.S. Navy Medal of Honor.

With only a few hundred people living in Gordonville, there are very few attractions located here. The Gordonville Grill is the only real area of interest found in the village, and it serves as a popular restaurant for the region.  Fortunately, with neighboring communities located so close by, residents are able to enjoy other entertainment opportunities, such as Steel Crest Winery and the Vintage Marketplace, both of which are found in Jackson. Nearby Cape Girardeau is also home to some great attractions that Gordonville residents might enjoy, such as Isle Casino Cape Girardeau, the Cape Splash family Aquatic Park, and Lazy L Safari Park.

If you are living in Gordonville and are looking for a way to reduce your utility costs, one of the first things in your home that you should examine are your climate control systems. Since winters in Gordonville are cold with significant precipitation, you will likely need to run your furnace or heat pump all season long. If your system isn’t working properly, you could be losing money and energy, so allow an experienced HVAC technician to give it a tune-up.

Your air conditioning unit can run into the same problem. Summer weather tends to be hot and humid, and regularly scheduling HVAC maintenance can make sure that your central air conditioner is working at optimal efficiency. The end result should be a cooler home, better air quality, and lower cooling costs.
